Obs audio out of sync

When I stream to Twitch (or record), my desktop audio goes out of sync with the video over time. The microphone is perfectly synced the whole time. Both OBS Studio and "playback device->Speakers" have 44.1kHz. I have device timestamps on, started with it off, changed it because of the desync.

Mar 28, 2017 路 Nothing worked. My out of sync issue affected all media players (VLC, MPC, WMP etc), and all browsers for online streamed video. Oct 18, 2012 路 It isn't as simple as Unlinking the audio and dragging it to match it up, no, it's as if the audio slows down over the progression of the video. So even if I were to drag the audio and sync it up to someone talking (which is such a pain...) immediately afterwards, the audio will gradually become out of sync again.
Luckily, these audio sync issues in OBS are usually caused by a sample rate mismatch. Your first thought might be to adjust the audio sync in the advanced audio properties, but that isn't really what you need to do, nor should do.

Hi, I recently ran a live event using the NDI function of Teams to pull out the speakers and manipulate them in OBS (layouts etc) and then put into a public Teams Live event. The issue I encountered was with the NDI feed and audio / video sync. Each NDI feed brings in the entire audio feed from ...
I'm editing in DaVinci Resolve 14 and discovered that my audio is out of sync - starts in sync then drifts off as the video progresses. After some self-education on the web I believe this is called audio sync drift, and a lot of people suggest that I get a TBC and rip the VHS again. So an inexpensive TBC is about $275 bucks for my 25 tapes - ugh.

If I mute OBS, the monitoring doesn't work, and so I get no audio. If I capture the audio completely outside OBS with another mic, everything's out-of-sync and I don't have portable audio. This is so close to a seamless way to turn any phone into a portable webcam with mic, but I haven't figured out that last little piece of the puzzle.

When I import it to the media pool, however, it's as if the video gets progressively more and more out of sync with the audio up until the end.

Dec 12, 2017 路 I have upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (57) as well as upgrading Opera and Chrome. The problem is still there. Variable frame rate is disabled in my OBS settings. I did some more tests today, tried it with the original virtualdub+FFMpeg Input Plugin. Weird results, the frames seem to exists, I can view them with the original. I didn't encode anything yet so I can't tell if I get the out of sync sound bug with it too.
